Over the past years, we have met many Mainers who want to learn how to communicate better in situations where hearing loss plays a role. However, this was mostly via online meetings via Zoom.
Let’s meet in person! Let’s have some fun and support each other as we navigate living with a hearing loss. Meeting face-to-face, sharing stories, laughing and learning tips on how to best live with hearing loss is the best!

This is observed worldwide to raise global attention on this rare genetic condition that causes combined hearing loss and progressive vision loss.
Brewer, Maine – Thursday Open Discussions: How hearing loss impacts our lives. Next: Septemer 24th
Come to the Brewer Maine Public Library for a fun and lively discussion about our hearing loss journeys. We will laugh, learn, share, and come together with our stories, our victories, and our challenges.
This is an ongoing program with Thursday meeting dates throughout the year. The meetings are not every Thursday, but always 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Healthy Peninsula, in collaboration with the Blue Hill YMCA and the Island Community Center, is excited to host its 4th Annual Healthy Hibernation Fair on Saturday, November 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Blue Hill YMCA.
