How to use InnoCaption phone app; online meeting Thursday January 16, 2025, at 7:00 pm EST.
Our guest speaker will be from Innocaption , who will showcase their new and useful features as well as how to set those up. They will also help fix any glitches on our phones. This is a popular speech-to-text app for both Android and ios smart phones.
Human assistance with captions during a call is available, although it defaults to automated captions. Both sides of the conversation are captured by the transcript. Voicemail is captioned too. It is FREE to individuals with hearing loss because this service is funded by the FCC.

HLAA New England chapters (Eastern CT, Downeast = Maine, MA – Boston, Vermont, and NH ALDA, etc.) are gathering to get to know one another and discuss ways to better serve folks dealing with hearing loss in our areas. The main events are on Satureday but there will be options to stay Friday or Sunday for informal fun. Join us!
