Auracast Has Arrived in Maine!
Hooray! The future is now! The historic Strand Theatre is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with local
audiologist Gary D. Schwartzberg, AuD, to bring Auracast™ broadcast audio technology to the beloved downtown venue.
This initiative is significantly enhancing the listening experience for patrons, particularly those with hearing loss, while preserving the theatre’s rich cultural legacy.
Auracast™ broadcast audio is an emerging Bluetooth® technology that allows users to receive high-quality, low-latency audio directly to compatible hearing aids, cochlear implants, earbuds, and smartphones. By implementing this system, the Strand Theatre will provide guests with a more accessible, personalized, and immersive audio experience during films, concerts, and live performances.
The story of the Strand Theatre Auracast installation i featured in the industry’s premiere website https://www.bluetooth.com/ .
