The case, Watson v. Anti-Recidivism Coalition, was resolved on September 19, 2025, establishing legally binding requirements for effective communication, particularly emphasizing the necessity of professional CART services.The settlement mandates that ARC must provide CART services upon request with at least seven days’ notice, ensuring meaningful access at no charge. Even with shorter notice, ARC must make “best reasonable efforts” to accommodate requests.
